Terms and Conditions

Welcome to ZYRA – Live Clean (“ZYRA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website or booking a cleaning service, you (“Customer,” "Client," “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms govern your use of our services and constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ZYRA. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

Services Provided

 

1.1 Nature of Services
ZYRA provides an online platform connecting customers with independent cleaning professionals (“Contractors”). Contractors are independent service providers, not employees, partners, or agents of ZYRA.

1.2 Scope of Services
We facilitate booking, scheduling, and secure payment processing through our platform. The cleaning services themselves are performed solely by Contractors.

1.3 No Guarantee of Availability
While we strive to match each booking with a Contractor, service availability may vary based on location, scheduling, and demand.

Booking & Payment

2.1 Booking Process
All services must be booked through our website using our online scheduling tool. Customers must provide accurate details, including service type, property size, and any access instructions.

2.2 Payments

  • All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc.

  • We accept major debit and credit cards.

  • By submitting your payment details, you authorize ZYRA to charge your selected payment method for the total service cost, including add-ons and applicable taxes.

2.3 Payment Security
Stripe handles all payment processing. ZYRA does not store or have access to your full payment information.

2.4 Failed or Declined Payments
If your payment fails, your booking will not be confirmed. It is your responsibility to ensure that valid payment information is provided.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

 

3.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled service are eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service are non-refundable.

3.2 Rescheduling
Rescheduling may be done free of charge if requested at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, the service is considered canceled and non-refundable.

3.3 Service Dissatisfaction
If you are dissatisfied with a service, you must notify ZYRA within 24 hours of completion. Our Service Satisfaction Guarantee provides for a re-clean of affected areas at no additional cost. Refunds are issued only if a re-clean cannot be arranged or if significant issues remain unresolved.

3.4 No-Shows
If you fail to provide access to the property at the scheduled time, the booking is considered a no-show and is non-refundable.

Customer Responsibilities

 

By booking a service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate booking information.

  • Ensure safe working conditions, including running water, electricity, and climate control.

  • Secure pets, valuables, and fragile items prior to the cleaning service.

  • Communicate clearly about any special requests or access instructions.

ZYRA and Contractors are not responsible for loss or damage to unsecured valuables or for unsafe conditions at the service location.

Independent Contractor Relationship

 

5.1 Contractor Status
All cleaners engaged through ZYRA are independent contractors. They are not employees, representatives, or agents of ZYRA.

5.2 Responsibility for Services
Contractors are solely responsible for the manner, quality, and completion of their services. ZYRA facilitates scheduling and payments but does not control or direct how services are performed.

5.3 Dispute Resolution with Contractors
Any disputes regarding service performance will first be addressed through ZYRA’s Service Satisfaction Guarantee process.

Limitation of Liability

 

6.1 General Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZYRA is not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform or services.

6.2 Cap on Liability
ZYRA’s total liability, if any, for direct damages will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

6.3 Damage Waivers
ZYRA and Contractors are not responsible for normal wear and tear, pre-existing damage, or defects in your property.

Payment Processing by Stripe

7.1 Third-Party Processor
Payments are processed through Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment provider. By using our platform, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service and privacy policy.

7.2 Role of Stripe
Stripe is responsible solely for payment processing. ZYRA, not Stripe, is responsible for providing services, handling cancellations, or resolving service-related disputes.

 

Privacy & Data Protection

 

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such collection and use.

 

Intellectual Property

 

All content on the ZYRA website, including text, logos, and graphics, is the property of ZYRA and may not be used without prior written consent.

 

Modifications to Terms

 

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted with a revised “Effective Date.” Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bond County, Illinois.
